The Dog & Bear Hotel, Lenham

The hotel has some positives like friendly service and a nice location near the Market Square, but there are downsides like lack of soundproofing in the rooms and the constant cooking smell at the rear of the hotel. The room size may not be suitable for taller individuals, and the heat in the room could be uncomfortable in warm weather.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were warm and welcoming, well-appointed, and very clean. The service was friendly and helpful, offering a safe and welcoming environment. The location was excellent, though a bit noisy on weekends. The dining experience was good but with some room for improvement. Overall, a great value for money.

The hotel is centrally located in Lenham, offering a warm atmosphere and a nice selection of drinks. While the rooms were exceptionally clean, there was noticeable noise from the bar downstairs. Despite this, the king size bed and provided tea & coffee amenities were convenient. The service was a mix, with some very pleasant staff and others seeming a bit unhappy. My gluten intolerance was handled well, and I appreciated the effort, although there were small inconveniences like clearing tables during breakfast with friends. The surroundings included a charming square and easy access to Leeds Castle, enhancing the overall experience.
